Bonjour!

Bonjour a tous!

Jennifer, Eva and I have safely arrived in France! We have already completed five meetings in the past 48 hours and wasted no time in stuffing ourselves with delicious French bread, Italian coffee and Turkish kebabs.

Eva slept through the flights pretty well (which we were very happy about) with a little help from some Benedryl. We arrived in Brussels Friday morning and made the short drive two hours south to Longuyon. After a pleasant and restful afternoon we had our first meeting for a pastors/leaders conference called Eliel. I don’t remember much as I was very tired! 😉

Saturday (yesterday) we had two more meetings with the pastors and a third in the evening with the youth (Jenny and I and our “French band” leading worship for all). The last two meetings I was not able to preach as the presence of God was so strong! We are experiencing a real move of the Lord’s Spirit in these meetings and it’s really wonderful. Thank you for your prayers.

This morning I preached in our “home church” here. The Lord has already blessed us, both with a strong manifestation of His presence, and in the natural; a man in the church built me a custom electric guitar which he gave me this morning. Je n’ai pas des mots. (I have no words). It never ceases to amaze me how the Lord works, as a few months ago I passed on one of my favorite guitars to another pastor. Now this… Wow…

After a wonderful meal with our friends here, Jennifer and I have come back to our “home base” called Ferme de Moncel (Moncel Farm). It should be a calm night, but with the French you never know!

The next few days we will spend with many of the families in the church and one or two sight-seeing stops (which we normally don’t have time for). For those of you who would like to pray for our dates after that, below is a list you can print out and hang on your fridge:
